Surf the Source of Life : Demystify and Integrate Breath and Bhandas With Asana and Functional Anatomy
Each "Medic Yoga : Therapeutic and Anatomy Workshop" focuses on a specific topic or part of the body that aims to deepen our understanding on how we utilize asana as a powerful healing tool in addition to refining our practice effectively and in a purposeful way.
In this 2 hour workshop we shall explore the mysterious mechanism of air and energy flow within our body through physical manifestation. Let's focus on the key muscles involved for breath and remember how to awaken and coordinate them beautifully...surf the source of life and retrieve vulnerable essence from it.

About Bryan Lau :
Upon receiving his masters degree in Sports Medicine and Health Science, Dr. Bryan now helps to heal people with sports injuries primarily within the out-patient clinic. Founder of Dr.Bryan Yoga since 2012, through the medium of teaching yoga he intentionally combines knowledge of functional anatomy, modern myofascial stretching techniques and physical treatment skills, all of which aims to deepen students understanding of the powerful healing effects of asana. Dr. Bryan furthers opportunities for educating his students via way of monthly Theraputic and Experiential Anatomy workshops. His teaching method "Medic Yoga" is largely influenced by the amazing Jason Crandell and Patrick Creelman, instructors who not only focus on detailed alignment, but also enlighten students into being mindful and present in the practice.

Sportswear with an open heart.
Although yoga mats are available to borrow, please do bring your own. A yoga block is also advised, but not required.
